2.5 minutes. The dial always has 20 rings, and this timer runs 50 minutes.
Does it chime at the end?
Yes. A clear double chime marks zero, even from a background tab, and the rings themselves stay silent so the countdown never interrupts you. Exported videos add a soft tick as each ring finishes.
