What about green or herbal tea?
Green tea usually wants about 2 minutes and herbal closer to 4. Both lengths have their own timer pages, or set any steep by hand.
Do I have to stay by the screen?
No. The countdown holds in a background tab, and the double chime is clear from across the kitchen.
